I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt a bit Cooped Up during the last few months! Though despite having to spend almost all of my time alone, I haven't felt all that lonely. I acknowledge my privilege and feel beyond thankful for the safety nets supporting me. For these reasons, I've actually been able to find a lot of success during these strange and difficult months, and I'd like to try to inspire others to do the same! At THE COOPED UP COOP you'll read about my training and how I manage to run so many miles without my body breaking down; you'll read about my academic interests as a literary historian and critic (I'm also branching out to film!); you'll get behind the scenes looks at my drawing process, and I'll offer helpful techniques for those wanting to give drawing a try; and you can follow me around in my tiny kitchen to see what recipes I do justice and which I completely fail!
I'm "Coopie," THE COOP… not a kook! (Well, maybe that, too)
